Internal KCN: Tutorial on Spiking neuron-glial networks and mean-field analysis thereof"

This tutorial introduces the essential mathematical details on the neuron-glial theory for working memory that I initially presented at the October 2020 KCN event. 

In the first part of the tutorial, I discuss some fundamental aspects of astroglial physiology to develop spiking models of astrocytes and networks of interacting neurons and astrocytes. In the second part, I outline how to transform the spiking-model equations into stochastic rate equations and analyze the asynchronous neuronal firing activity's stability.
